Joule has pioneered a CO2-to-fuel production platform, effectively reversing combustion through the use of solar energy. The CO2-to-liquids conversion requires sunlight, non-potable water and cyanobacteria to produce ethanol and hydrocarbon fuels.
Joule has successfully pilot-tested its platform for over two years and assembled a specialized team, including TCI, for the design and engineering of systems for commercial deployment. Process engineering includes the recently completed design upgrades to the Ethanol Absorption Systems. TCI is providing process engineering, design and fabrication isometrics for the system as well as onsite support.
